UPS for torrent/media server (home) with smart on/off?

Good day, dear forum users! Recently I went to friends in another city with a laptop, and left my home computer on the torrent and other remote needs turned on (connection with the laptop via Team Viewier). I live in private owners, thanks to God the Internet was good, but the light is ... an infection. We often like to cut down.
In this regard, there was a need to purchase a UPS with the following capabilities: the light is turned off, the computer is given a certain time, and if the light does not appear at this time, then turn off the computer and wait for the light to appear. How to appear, restart the system, and so on. Googling, I realized that I was not alone. It turns out, indeed, that everyone's favorite UPS company - APC specializes in the Smart series - offers everything that I need.
There are several problems. The APC price (although I would like, of course, less, but I haven’t heard them better in quality) for this Smart series with my system configuration (after all, you need to choose the UPS power based on the configuration of the machine) is probably a bit high. My configuration: i7-2600K; PALIT GTX570 Sonic Platinum, 1.3GB, GDDR5; KHX2133C9AD3X2K2/4GX(1 set), PSU HIPER M700, mother ASUS SABERTOOTH P67(rev 3.X) LGA 1155, Win 7 OS. , Team Viewer. Less often I cut XBMC with UPnP, Photoshop, Lightroom, a little later I will do remixes and blurs.
I don’t know how much power all this economy consumes, therefore I have painted work programs. Herethe person writes that the Back-UPS series is cheaper and with the same features that I need. Up to 5 thousand really take anything with my requests? And what is the next amount for the purchase? After the purchase, what will need to be set in the BIOS, what settings?

Yes, in fact, you can wind such a thing yourself. There are cool UPS with the ability to monitor the charge by a computer. When the charge drops too much, you can ask the computer to sleep. Nearby is the simplest circuit that sends wake up when receiving power. Something like this. You only need to configure it in BIOS Setup by enabling wake-up on this packet. Well, twist the circuit.
But one but. Even your headless household will require at least half a kilowatt of power. If you turn off the video, then you can try to force this economy to eat a little more than 200 watts, but this is also very, very much. The battery must be ... Well, very large to power this at least for a long time. Otherwise, the default settings are better - as soon as the power is gone - hibernate. Otherwise, you will not find anything within the budget.
