Upgrade from Standard Evaluation to Standard with Active Directory?

Hello!
There is a Windows Server 2019
Unknowingly deployed AD on a server with Standard Evaluation, now you need to activate it and upgrade to Standard as a result. I read that this will not work with deployed AD. Maybe there are some options?

You can deploy another temporary AD server (a regular PC or a virtual machine will do), make it the main one, then remove the server on which the Standard Evaluation license is located from the domain and reinstall Windows with a license on it. And then roll the AD role onto it.
PS and I would leave the second AD server - so having only one authorization server is not good in terms of security and performance of the entire infrastructure.
