Unknown error when turning on kali linux?

I wanted to install the NVIDIA proprietary driver, instructions .
after the 5th step they asked me to reboot, I reboot and this one crashes.
How to fix?

brcm* is a broadcom wifi driver, not an error message. If everything hangs further, then this is just the last visible message, apparently not related to the hang.
What to do -- boot into text mode, read logs...
