Unity, horizontal stripes on panel?

Samsung Q45C laptop with integrated ATI video.
Ubuntu operating systems since 11.10 show horizontal bars below the panel, similar to Unity, horizontal bars below the panel? .
However, after installing Ubuntu 14.04, the stripes are also displayed on the panel itself: screenshot .
I removed the stripes under the panel by deleting the file /usr/share/unity/icons/panel-shadow.png
But I could not find which file to delete or modify (remove the alpha channel?) so that the panel is displayed without horizontal stripes.

Installed the Unity Tweak Tool - found the transparency control, twisting it to the maximum makes the panel completely transparent and the stripes disappear: storage7.static.itmages.ru/i/14/0508/h_1399551866_...
It can be considered a partial solution to the problem.
