UniFi AC as a router?

I'm an amateur, I'm wondering if the UniFi AC LR AP can be used as a regular wi-fi router, or is it just an access point that needs a separate router? Internet from provider via dhcp.
PS If you recommend something else within 10t.r. for a large cottage with 15 clients, I would be grateful. Do not offer several points and repeaters, enough has been written about this on the Internet.
