Why did my HP Probook Rallink Wi-Fi lose speed?
Good afternoon.
There was an Asus laptop - the download speed via wi-fi was 10 MB / sec.
Now HP Probook g1 455 - and lo and behold, as if some kind of limitation of 2 MB / sec. I changed the drivers, the wi-fi settings are normal (everything is ok on the second asus laptop).
Adapter: Ralink RT3290 802.11 bgn. The signal is maximum.
I changed both channels and encryption types (but I don’t understand why, because everything is ok on the second laptop)
The laptop is close to Wi-fi.
Can someone thread faced?
Thanks

If mechanical, the antennas to the card may be badly attached. If programmatically, try to put the minimum power and speed on it in g mode, try different channels, well, what are the signal indicators at such a speed, maybe the signal clogs. According to your data, only go to psychics, at least attach a scan of the radio broadcast.
1. Come close to the access point
2. Try to boot from livecd How
do you measure the speed?
