Under what conditions can a product be called a sleeve and under what pipes?

And so, when the product can be considered:
1) a pipe, and when a sleeve
2) a circle / disk / cylinder, and when a rod
3) when a plate, and when a sheet
Or are there no specific standards?

By functions.
A bushing is a fastener that connects, for example, tubes.
The rod is also more of a function. Even if it is cylindrical.
The sheet is more of a blank. The plate is a finished product. But there is an exception. For example, "spring leaf".
