Ultrawide vs Dual Screen?

I plan to replace monitors, now two - 22 "and 19", new ones I choose between two 27" FHD or one 34" UFHD, but I have never had experience with an ultra-wide monitor, so there are doubts. I read in several places that the ideal monitor size for the eyes is 27 due to the proportions of the fonts, especially if the eyesight is already planted. The main tasks are work, programming, testing, sometimes movies and games. Share your experience with an ultrawide monitor, what are the disadvantages compared to dual monitors. From 34 "by the way, the eye has so far fallen on the LG 34WK500.

What about font sizes? How convenient will it be to read from 34 "UFHD (or 27" FHD) compared to 29 "UFHD (or 24" FHD) who had the experience of comparison? There is a lot of work with text and code. Some complain about the large grain on 27" and 34" monitors.
And one more question. Now on my monitor 22" 1680x1050 the dot pitch is 0.282 mm. I would like the font at the recommended resolution without scaling to be a little larger, so the pixel and dot pitch should be larger? something like 0.3108 mm? If in the description of the monitor I see, that the dot pitch is 0.2628 mm, does this mean that the font will be even smaller than on my current monitor? Do I understand correctly how it works?
And what type of matrix is better for working with text, ips or VA?
