Ultrabook for $400 - unrealistic. Even the usual is difficult. Gavnobuk - full.
Given the need to work with photoshop and AI, I would say that the minimum price is 500-600. Buy for 400 - you will bite your elbows. And ultrabooks, starting from 800.
Maybe a BU or some kind of mega promotion.

For $ 400, you can try to take some ordinary asus / acer i3 level from one of the past generations. Normal ultrabooks riser 1200+.

New is unrealistic for such little money. Buy a well used MacBook.
PS More or less the budget needs to be increased by 4 times, and preferably 6.
