Uikit - how much is in demand in production?

I practice page layout using the >Bootstrap framework (newbie in layout under frameworks).

I know that there are other such frameworks (I am a little familiar with some, unfamiliar with others):

foundation.zurb.com
semantic-ui.com
www.telerik.com/kendo-ui
https://getuikit.com

I have a question - from the point of view of practical orders , is it a waste of time for me to learn all the other frameworks (which are on the list)? Even if, for example, I liked Uikit more than Bootstrap?

At the same Freelancing, almost all customers, if they want a layout for the framework, then this is Bootstrap, as far as I can tell?

I'm right?

And also one more questionby Bootstrap. If my memory serves me, has Bootstrap 4 been in the alpha state for at least half a year now?

What is this indicator? Did the authors abandon the development of the project? Do the authors see no prospects for further development of the project?

If you are building a simple website or a landing page, it doesn’t matter at all whether it is a ready-made framework, your own framework, or without it at all.
The framework is important only if after the layout designer someone will constantly work on the site, this especially makes sense when laying out personal accounts, admin panels, and interfaces.
Otherwise, in my personal opinion , frameworks are not needed at all.
You need to know them all a little bit if you want to perform high-quality layout.
But don't get hung up on just one.
It's like developing sites on only one CMS, if you learn only one, when the question arises to do something on another, then you simply cannot cope with the task, even the simplest one.
If you like a particular framework, then learn it, develop in this direction. There will always be a project that will not be strictly regulated and you can do it the way you want.
As for bootstrap orders, here, I think, the factor that customers do not know about other frameworks plays a role.
I often come across the fact that the customer says "I need the layout on the bootstrap". I'm wondering why, what purpose, why him. And in response, "I don't know, I just read that it's fashionable." This is the main problem of most customers. They hear a ringing, but do not know where it is.
Also, undoubtedly, another factor plays a big role - popularity among developers. If the customer is not confident in you as a performer (and he is not sure by default in each new employee), then I will ask you to do it on a popular instrument. Again, by analogy with CMS, for the same reason, a lot of sites are asked to be done on WordPress. It's just that it's easier to find a person to finalize a site on a popular tool than if, for example: You made a site on some Express CMS and UIKit, which no one knows. Of course, the site on the VP and the bootstrap will be easier to finalize.
The bootstrap 4 rework is a global overhaul, in fact 70% of the core framework is being rewritten. The introduction of flexboxes, which are not yet well studied on the market, writing hacks for flexboxes for old shitty browsers, in general, half a year is normal. I think that this is not the limit.
