UI autotests from scratch: what frameworks are there, where to start?

Good day to all!
There is a task to automate the ui part of the portal: check for the presence of icons, buttons, their font color parameters and other things.
Please share your experience where to start, what frameworks are there, if paid, then within a reasonable framework?

Selenium IDE to start, it will check for availability, determine the functionality of each button, in terms of color and size (style) of fonts, this is better with pens
