UBUNTU won't boot - Only a purple screen is visible. What to do?

Installed Ubuntu 18.10, after I rebooted the computer, a purple screen appeared and nothing else happens.

I can't figure out what exactly the problem is - is it not loading the distribution kit onto a USB flash drive correctly, in the installation, or something else?
Please, help.
