Ubuntu server ssh auto start without authorization?

Maybe a stupid question, but still. There is a virtual machine with ubuntu server, I work on it using ssh, but the problem is that I need to log in every time to start the ssh service.
The question is, can I, bypassing authorization, somehow start the service exactly when the machine starts, and not after logging in?
Thank you.
