Ubuntu minimal boot to RAM?

There are a few questions:
1. How to CD / DVD an exact copy of the installed Ubuntu on the hard drive?
2. How to run this image live?
3. All this should work without HDD the whole system is in RAM
What I have at the moment:
A bootable DVD with Ubuntu that starts in live mode, but the system starts in "Try" mode, and not in installed system mode.
At the same time, the entire system is loaded into RAM, but the OS image came out in 1.2GB and the RAM is only 2GB and the OS slows down.
What I need to have in Linux Slax is already out of the box, and it takes 230MB in RAM, but I really don’t want to use Red Hat based OS. Yes, there are doubts that there will be dances with a tambourine with application software, it is still under Debian.

ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=688872 something like this.
There was an Ubuntu Customization Kit and RemasterSys even earlier, but I think both are dead.

@ZetaNeta

If you want Debian, then take Debian itself.
Ubuntu is not meant to be a pillbox.
