Ubuntu hangs after adding RAM, what could be the problem?

I installed a new RAM chip and after the start of ubuntu hanging at different intervals, tightly. Memtest found no errors. Changed plates in places. Do the slats match? Is the supply voltage increased?
I had such a case (that memory is still working) - I bought the memory, installed it. The wheelbarrow hangs constantly. I climb into Google, read, I find that memory needs increased nutrition. I go into the BIOS, add + 0.1V to the power - that's it. It still works.
