Ubuntu+exim+local_scan how to build?

You must use the local_scan option in Exime.
I read that for this you need to rebuild Exim by changing the Makefile

LOCAL_SCAN_SOURCE=Local/local_scan.c

downloaded sources
apt-get source exim4
and then what?
