Ubuntu 14.04 Why won't Steam launch?

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Video: R9 270 (I'm using catalyst 14.12)
When I start steam, I get the error "You are missing the following 32-bit libraries: libc.so.6"
I try "locate libc.so.6" and get:

/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6
/lib32/libc.so.6

Steam also reinstalled. Everything seems to be set...
