Ubuntu 14.04 Live USB - where is all the data stored?

Good afternoon I installed it on USB - ubuntu
14.04
I didn’t markup the flash drive for additional files - that is, a clean OS and that’s it, no persistence
I boot from a USB flash drive - everything works
these files?
Or what will happen to them?
Will they be on a flash drive?
Will they be available on 2nd run (on/off usb)
