Two OS at the same time?

I am a passionate lover of Linux, but I work with phones, firmware, etc., and therefore I refuse to install my favorite axis. How can I put two axes, so to speak, into one (in my opinion, paravirtualization), so that you do not have to reboot? I want Linux as the main system, but the experience with vmware and vb was not always good, because often wines in virtualbox do not always detect devices connected via usb. And in short, I want to install Linux Mint 12.2 and put Win 7 inside, so that when devices are connected, they are correctly connected to Win 7 or (may sound silly) so that devices connect through Linux directly to the virtual machine

Virtualization. Through paravirtualization, you will not run Windows as a guest system.
Throw the entire USB controller into the virtual machine. Google PCI passthrough
But for virtualization systems known to me, this requires VT-d (not to be confused with VT-x) or AMD IOMMU.
You won’t lose all USB at once, something will remain for the host system. There are usually 2-3 USB controllers on the motherboard. Look in lspci. True, which physical port belongs to which controller will have to be checked experimentally.
