Two gateways on the same network?

Good afternoon!
There is a Mikrotik 192.168.1.1 router on the network, it distributes the Internet and dhcp,
the second D-link router 192.168.1.2, it also distributes the Internet from the second provider
, there is no opportunity to connect the second provider to Mikrotik, a long distance
The goal, when the Internet is turned off on Mikrotik, redirect traffic on D-link and when the Internet appears on Mikrotik, return traffic back.

I propose to raise 2 default gateways on Mikrotik with different distances. 1 provider gateway, 2 gateway - Dlink. This will make it easier to set up.

Two default gateways with different metrics on clients.
PS: It would be more interesting in your case to stir up channel balancing with fault tolerance. This is a more difficult question - either to buy a piece of iron that can do this; or deal with the issue yourself.

Connect the miktotik and dlink to a separate VLAN (even if it is on the microtik's LAN interface) and do the balancing already on the mikrotik itself.

You still have two channels. One is directly connected to the Mikrotik, the second one lands on the D-link. But nothing prevents Mikrotik from having access to the second channel, only not directly, but via D-link.
