I had a lot of experience with this software, I will say this, there are many opportunities, I will not say that you need tuning, but rather set yourself the required capabilities and stir it up. There is nothing difficult. But there is one problem that finishes me to this day, Windows has big problems with regards to authorization by login and password and delimitation of file rights. For example, Windows does not always know how to reset authorization on a folder, this is the biggest minus, I had to make bicycles. But if you work through politics, then the problem disappears, although there are problems here, but not so terrible.
To this day, I am looking for an analogue with a cross-platform application in the form of an explorer, so far I have not found anything worthy to replace samba.
