Trouble hosting telegram bot on heroku?

telebot.apihelper.ApiException: A request to the Telegram API was unsuccessful. The server returned HTTP 404 Not Found. response body.
The bot works on the local machine. (It seems to me that the token is specified directly in the code) It seems to me that the error is due to the use of config vars on heroku. Used config vars to avoid putting the bot's token on github
