Transmission crashes user on Raspberry pi 4 8GB. Why does this happen and how to avoid it?

It turned out that even during one active torrent file, the entire user under which Transmission 2.94 is running can crash, while the rest of the users in the system will remain working. What could be the reason?
It costs the latest Raspberry Pi OS at the moment, is powered by the original power supply (during operation, the characteristic lightning icon was not seen) and one external hard drive is connected via usb 3, on which the torrents lie.
