Training problems for perl?

It would be desirable to "raise" perl. Reading theory is self-explanatory. But it needs to be put into practice. Thinking up tasks is not very successful. Where can I get water tasks for implementation? To from simple to complex.

1. Go to Google code, github, etc…
2. Choose something small, console and preferably useful.
3. Porting to pearl.
Or barley binding can be done to something and arranged in accordance with all the rules.

The books "Learn Perl" and "Learn Perl Deeper", in addition to being written for a beginner, are simply amazing, able to show the beauty of this language, among other things, there are practice tasks at the end of each section.

There are two books you should definitely get when learning Perl: Programming Perl (also known as Camel book) and Perl Cookbook. The latter is a collection of problems and their correct solutions from the point of view of the pearl's ideology. Both books in the latest editions were published in Russian.
