Training material on the development of game logic?
Good afternoon.
I'm looking for tutorials on developing the server side of multiplayer games. The very basics: how is it and what works?
I went through a lot of articles / books on game development, but usually they describe either the process of creating a game, i.e. the work of a game designer, or work with graphics, which is not suitable for me either. I also wrote introductory articles on synchronizing the client and server for realtime games, but I don’t need it yet either.
Me interests, the general server logic of games. Those. how is the work with queues of game events? How does the main game loop work? Etc. It is important for me to get a general understanding of the entire circuit, and not specific details.

Read Architecture of an online game server using Skyforge as an example . This, of course, is not what you asked about (this is not a tutorial), but I think it will be interesting for you to read. Personally, I found this material interesting for myself.
Game Theory - a lot of literature on this topic / in this discipline
