Tips for a beginner rubist on pre-junior employment, what to look for?
Salute, earthlings! :)
There is a very expressed desire to become a hacking specialist. At least (over time) middle. I have already chosen a specific company related to my interests - Nullplay, if you are interested, here is the company itself - https://moikrug.ru/companies/nullpay .
Cryptocurrencies, cryptography, data encryption, all these things are extremely interesting to me. I even used to set up my own small farm of four video cards for mining :) And in connection with the fact (judging from recent news) that cryptocurrencies want to take control of the state turnover (which I doubt very much), but nevertheless !
In general, I really like everything that people from the glorious city of St. Petersburg do! This is the number one choice for me.
And now towards ambition and more about practice:
I'm a very green but confident Ruby language explorer. In addition to several online courses that I'm taking, I'm already working on my first pilot (not big), but still a project, which by its very nature is very closely related to my development as a programmer. If it's unclear, don't worry. The main thing is that I am delighted with it. Well, in fact, I want to know from more experienced Ruby developers - what's what, what to pay attention to in the initial training for a junior? typical mistakes or misconceptions that juniors face, in general, if possible, I want to know everything at all!) Thank you in advance for the answers! :)

Take good courses, such as www.thinknetica.com , then another year or two of work experience in a normal company (read team) and you will be able to apply for a middle position.
