Time attendance system - what to choose?
There is such a task.
Need a FREE time tracking system. Preferably a web server (in extreme cases, a client-server). Cloud storage is not suitable - you need your own server.
Required functionality of the system:
Roles - system administrator, manager, user.
The system manager distributes tasks for the reporting period. Tasks are tied to performers. The performer sees only his tasks. It is imperative that the employee (user) be able to keep a calendar of working time, noting how many hours and on what day he spent on solving the problem.
Reporting: at least two reports are required: a slice of the employee's working time for the selected period and a report on tasks.
I tried to install redmine, but there the functionality is different, project-oriented and there is no possibility (at least I did not find it) to record working time in the employee's calendar plan. In principle, MS Project Server closes my task, but it is expensive and there is no way to build a report on employee employment.
Who can advise what?
