Thunderbird and text grouping?

Good day dear community.
Thunderbird has the ability to display conversations as a tree, thereby grouping messages by correspondence. But for work, such branching is not needed, since the chronology of correspondence is more important than its branches.
The Conversations extension does something similar to the behavior I need, but it strives more to make the interface look like gmail (plus TB starts to noticeably slow down), but for me, an analogue of the tree view is enough, but where there will be only two levels: the first message and under it all the rest in chronological okay.
Is there any extension that can implement this behavior?
