Thunderbird and Outlook.com. How to live?
Hi friends!
Has anyone used Thunderbird in conjunction with Live.com (mail *@outlook.com)?
Not only does IMAP work with a huge delay for new messages, it can also completely lose connection and is treated by restarting the client as a whole.
But recently, when starting TB, it deletes the Outlook account and adds its virgin again.
And it downloads 2k letters on a new one ... This is a huge pain.
With gmail and yandex.mail TB works fine and flawlessly, and only with live.com such tricks.
Maybe you know another reliable mail client (free) for Windows, but without such surprises?

I use TB 38.3.0 on outlook.com without any problems.
Just rechecked. All letters have been received. IMAP, recommended settings, i.e.
Server address: imap-mail.outlook.com, Port: 993, Encrypted connection: SSL.
I don't feel any pain while working with TB. Pichalka happens only with some qip.ru or a rambler.
