Through mail redirection to gmail I receive other people's letters and notifications. What to do?
There is an account in Google, in the form name.familyname1.gmail.com
It is configured to forward letters to a personal mailbox like mynickname.com
The problem is that sometimes letters and notifications from other *@gmail.com, which have similar names and last names.
With one namesake for almost 2 years now, he works as a scientist, and his gmail mail differs from mine by a couple of characters. In the headers of the letter, I clearly see that his email is indicated, but it comes to mine.
From time to time I receive notifications like "someone has logged into your login from such and such an IP by such and such a device". I look - the login is not mine, but similar to mine.
I tried to write to Google support, but since the account is free, I can’t find a normal support, and ordinary users answer in Google groups.
How to deal with such a bug? Because of this, I don’t respect gmail for important emails, because I see that at least once or twice a month, emails due to some bugs can end up with unknown people. Well, I'm already tired of manually forwarding letters to namesake namesakes. I don’t check my mail so often, but a person misses a meeting ... I
saw in Google groups that the problem occurs not only with me, I haven’t found such a question on Habré yet. Who faced? What do you suggest?

Understood.
One of the users, my namesake, when he registered a backup address for his Google account, mistakenly indicated my Google address, from which I have configured a forward to my home address. As a result, I received his notifications about various actions.
In addition, Google ignores dots in email. Thus, [email protected] and [email protected] are one address for Google, and it allows you to register both.
