How to collect/organize multiple Gmail accounts into one?

I have a main Gmail account. But you need to do what you can in it and send / receive letters on behalf of another. How is it done? Just forward from one account to another? Remind pliz, but how to send from another? And can I somehow sort the tabs in Gmail relative to different addresses?
