Google App and Sendmail: why is mail not leaving?
Hello,
The Mail Server has been set to Gmail by Google Apps. There was a need to configure SPF and DKIM checks for outgoing mail from the server, generated by scripts via php mail and sendmail. It turned out to be configured only by raising the mail server on the local machine. Mail leaves, arrives, passes checks.
But if the script sends an email to an internal email address (one of the ones created), then sendmail sends it to the local machine, not to Gmail. DNSs are configured. If you remove the host from local-host-names, then everything starts working correctly again, but does not pass the SPF and DKIM checks.
Where to dig? What to do?
CentOS 6, sendmail, dovecot.
