Thinkpad x301 analogs?

Good afternoon!
I am writing in frustrated feelings because my favorite thinkpad line has been turned into some kind of one-faced laptops.
I've seen enough of new products from CES2012, I saw that this year lenovo will roll out only 2 laptops that at least somehow relate to thinkpads - t430u and x1 hybrid. I won't go into details of why they are terrible. Straight to the question
Are there laptops like the thinkpad x301?
First of all, I'm interested in the following:
-Weight. My x301 with 2 batteries weighs 1.6kg. I would like less or at least the same.
-Availability of various wireless interfaces. I often have to work in different conditions - the ability to install wifi + wimax and 3g modem and the presence of a NETWORK CARD (I work in telecoms). Or the presence of mini pci-e slots for self-installation.
- Working time is really from 6 hours. And not as advertised - 20 hours with 3 stars.
-13/14 inches and screen from 1440x900. That slag that Lenovo now calls thinkpads - 1366 by 768.
-With a sane design. For what I loved the old thinkpad - for the design that was called "carved with an ax." They look brutal and stylish. IMHO.
-I would also like to get a "holistic" software. Not all tools in the tray, but like Lenovo - simple, convenient and functional applications that you don’t want to demolish in the first 10 minutes.
I will be very grateful for any options, my x301 is already old. You already need to buy new batteries, c2d 1.4 is sometimes not enough for autocad, not to mention the graphics (hd slows down)
UPD: I completely forgot! MATTE SCREEN!!!

This is a sore subject for many ... I myself was looking for something similar and did not find it.
Now there is some general idiocy among manufacturers. Above 1366 by 768 it's hard to find a laptop at all.
Not to mention that it was a light, compact and comfortable laptop. Usually, if the resolution is higher, then this is a kripich under 3 kg.
The only option I've found is the thinkpad 420s... but it's bigger and slightly heavier than the x301.

In addition to x301 and x201s, nothing suits your requirements -tyts .
But the same x220 is better. And with two batteries, it easily lives 16 hours (10-12 when watching 720p video). On one - 8 when surfing on wifi. They have gorgeous matrices, but the resolution is 1366x768, nevertheless.
And about the resolutions of laptop displays, everything is very simple. No one needs 13'' more than 1366x768 except for designers. 1366x768 is 720p. Stuffing 1920x1080 at 13 is expensive and difficult. Everything between 720p and 1080p is not in demand on the market (and, in principle, is fair).

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420
An excellent laptop in all respects
Weight - 2kg, but it's worth it.
By the way, I have an article in my drafts about upgrading this laptop. If you want, I will publish.

I know this is an old thread, but it's relevant to me.
I increased the memory to 8 gigs in my x301. Enough for the needs.
What is the situation at the topikstarter now?
