There is a site on Ruby on Rails, is it possible to implement such a function on it so that you can upload an excel file and load its data into the database?
Suppose there is a link on the page "Upload data from an excel file to the database", and when you click on this button, is it possible to load the data into the database after loading the file (import)?
How can this be done? Can you give examples?

I did not work specifically with Ruby, but I think it is quite possible.
Only I would upload a csv file instead of excel, and all languages can process text files.
Then it remains only to take the desired line, and enter the data into the database by separators.
