I know the way, in 20 seconds. You need to go to the settings and in the "Briefly about yourself" field - write, Frontend developer.
Again, a lot of letters and all about nothing!
Start studying and understand - you can or not !!!
Blah blah blah
It seems to me that in order to become a programmer from scratch - you need to strain your brains by gnawing granite for at least three years,
this is the complexity of a higher education,
but while you are studying, you can earn a little money in another area - including there will be rest for the brain
Author, if you have a legal opportunity to immigrate to the United States, then you need to understand one simple thing: no one will be interested in what you will learn here or even where you managed to work before.
You come there, learn the language, save money and complete courses there with a mandatory internship
. After entering the internship, you are tearing your ass for half a year in order to be left there.
No other way.
Here, depending on what is required at work.
Because when I looked at vacancies at one time, then front-end workers and layout designers, then this ratio of salary and requirements - how embarrassed I was. They want me to know, ideally, js, some preprocessors like less / saas, githubs, etc., while giving me 7000-10000 at best (if the company is really good). Basically no more than 5-6, with the same requirements. And for those vacancies, you still need to pass a test and stuff like that.
In general, with my knowledge, experience and portfolio, I have been looking for a similar vacancy for a year and a half. But even so far, not one has offered me to work with less knowledge (well, I really don’t know and I don’t know why I need to know saas / less or github) for the money that I get on freelancing.
And in essence the question of education: html academy, code academy and the like. Really GOOD and EXPENSIVE courses are quite expensive. Everything else is people sitting and tearing up lessons with html academy and code academy and the like. Once, a more or less well-known office was invited to read such "courses".
As for the time: you can learn how to make up websites at least in a week. Another week to learn how to pull at least on Worpdpress. Because in its current state, people want a control system, and don't want naked html. The ratio of orders is somewhere around 30 to 70 in favor of landing on the CMS.
Strange question) Learn to at least make up and you can safely call yourself a front-end developer. The only question is your level.
