The zoom in Photoshop has changed, why does it work differently?

How to return everything back?

Drag zoom works when graphics card acceleration is enabled and can be reset to zoom on click when there is not enough power (presumably that's why, but not sure). In this case, it is enough to reduce the load and restart Photoshop.
