The win 10 virtual machine hangs with two or more processors, what should I do?
I downloaded the Windows 10 operating system from the official website. I created a new virtual machine and installed 1 processor core and 6 gigabytes of memory. if you set more cores, a black window appears with five gray-striped windows icons and freezes. The system was installed with problems in the form of crashes and restarts. When the operating system loaded, it was very slow and constantly crashed with the irql_not_less_or_equal error. After several restarts, everything stopped by itself. Windows was still stuck. I tried to set more RAM and / or processor cores - the result is even worse (the operating system loaded 10 times longer).

try technical support
personally, I use
generation 1 for all hyper-v for any legacy
generation 2 for new OSes (plus deployment speed)
If you need to run a ready-made virtual machine, then I use
nested virtualization
https://docs.microsoft.com/ru-ru/ virtualization/hy...
It turns out to run kvm , virtualbox, vmware
There are problems in the form of throwing physical devices, but they can be solved
