The site is not working. Is the VPS provider or domain name registrar to blame?
Bought a specific .im domain a few days ago Registered on dynadot, ordered VPS elsewhere. I installed the site, launched it, everything seemed to work. After about an hour or two, I went from my mobile - the site is down. I did not attach much importance - I launched it for the test. Today I sat down to investigate. In order, my actions when setting up and linking dynadot to a VPS provider:
1. On dynadot, I added server names from my VPS provider to the purchased domain.
2. I ordered a DNS hosting service from a VPS provider. They said that you need to add the domain name and IP address of the primary service provider for binding. By primary service provider, I understand the dynadot IP address for my domain? I didn’t find it and in the dynadot chat they said that I was at the wrong address - like they don’t have any IP and in general everything is not configured that way. They say that it is enough that you added the names of the servers. In general, on the VPS provider, I just added the IP address of the VPS (I don’t know if it’s adequate, but you can’t leave the field empty) - I threw off a screenshot with the settings in the chat to the provider - they said that everything was correct.
And now when I go to the site itself, I get the answer - the server was not found. Search https://www.dynadot.com/ru/domain/ip.html
says
ip address none
On the provider, they write to me to contact the owner of .IM https://www.nic.im/home.mth
like they edited something (although it is not clear when, maybe 10 years ago). On dynadot they say that this is nonsense, because. the ip adress of the server was not found, and that this is the problem, and the whois information cannot affect the operation of the site. I'm already tired of running between them, and there is no answer from the Isle of Man at all and it is not clear how long to wait for it. Who is right, who is wrong?

In dynadot, write NS records with the addresses of your vps provider's dns servers. At the vps provider, create A records and whatever else you need.
1. Understand what is needed for the site to work correctly.
2. dig -q=ns will show you which domain servers are responsible for your zone
3. Edit the zone so that the correct IN A records are given (ip of your VPS)
Tell me the domain after all ... At least you can see what you wrote wrong
