The simplest and most importantly good backup script for Cent OS?
Hello to all Linux geeks :)
The guys have a server that has already been set up, put LAMP, SSH & NX on it (for myself, remote).
The essence of the server is simple, a server program will be installed on it that will create a database for itself and client programs from Windows machines will connect to it, and I will enter some information into the database.
The crux of the matter - you need a reliable and at the same time just a backup script for all this stuff. I am not strong in databases, but I think that all this information is stored in a certain folder, so I will need to make a backup of this folder. I also know that you can do this whole thing through phpmyadmin, but I assume that there will also be some documents and they will be stored as text files in a certain folder, so I ask for a small and reliable script for this business.
The main thing is that I can set it up in time and count. copies.
Thank you all in advance...
