The screen resolution is 1024 but the Full Hd screen is no longer installed because of the adapter to the video card, what should I do?
Hello The LG 22M35A-B monitor is old with a VGA connector, I assembled a new PC, I bought a 1060 from GIGABYTE, I didn’t fully understand the issue, when I brought it home, I started connecting, I realized that the cable from the monitor to the video card did not fit, I started looking for a solution, my friends suggested either a new monitor or an adapter here such shop.daycom.ru/shop/product/692967 I chose an adapter, I brought it home, I connected everything ok with a resolution of 1920 × 1080, the next day I turn on the PC with a resolution of 1024 × 768 and there are simply no other resolutions, I rummaged through the entire Internet, I did not find anything like that. I lived with this resolution for about 2 months during this time I managed to notice that 1920 × 1080 was set after the Windows 10 Update, but after turning it off again it went astray. And there was also a case when the light was turned off while working with a PC, and when the resolution was given again, it was restored to 1920 × 1080 but then dropped. My friend somehow managed to fix this (how I don’t know how long I was not present in person (unfortunately my friend passed away and I can’t write to him) All these few years there were no complaints about the adapter, everything was ok. 23.10. 2020 Windows asked for an update, I clicked update, it rebooted 3 times and everything returned to 1024 × 768 and not here and there (the focus with a power failure still works full hd appears but disappears after shutdown) I ask for the help of experts because I don’t want to buy a new monitor. To all who respond, many thanks.
