The relevance of Borisov's book "Young radio amateur 7th edition"?

Good evening.
I am a beginner electronics engineer. Are the schemes described in this book relevant in our time? Is it easy to find all the components for them? Is it a good book, or should I pick something else?

Googled it - the year of publication turns out to be like 1985. So, there is most likely a minimum about lamps, about microcircuits - the very first generations (there is probably nothing about processors and MK, although they already existed then). But what will be there about transistor circuits is of lasting value. So do not neglect, read and assimilate, especially practical advice.
