The question is, does it not install Python 3.9.1 correctly on MacOS?

everything is installed ok but on the terminal is still python 2.7 how to install correctly so that everything works? when typing on the terminal python3 enters what is 3.9.1 when entering the code, it writes invalid syntaxis
