The processor power on the server has dropped, what could be the matter?

Since yesterday (from 11:30 am) the available processor power on VDS (hosted in Ru-Center) has dropped sharply, what could be the matter? No major changes were made, everything worked as usual. After that, brakes appeared, and scripts began to work out 5-10 times slower.
