The process responsible for syncing Google contacts?

A rooted Xiaomi Mi2S smartphone with Android 4.1, after some of my actions, I lost the ability to synchronize Google contacts with my phone. In the Google account settings there are a bunch of different synchronizations, for example, contact photos, Google+ contacts, calendars, and so on, but there is no main thing - the synchronization of the contacts themselves.
With what it can be connected? What is the name of the process or file responsible for this?

go to settings, accounts, google, account name, and see contacts there
