Is it possible to set up calls from favorite contacts with sound in silent mode using standard Android 4.2 tools on a smartphone?

The question is near-IT and quite vital. Do I remember correctly or am I mistaken? It seems that in the settings of Android 4.2 you can make sure that calls from certain contacts even in silent mode pass with sound. I only have a Windows phone with me, I can’t check it, but I would like to know)
