The PC freezes when you insert a flash drive into it, how to cure a flash drive?
When I insert a USB flash drive into the PC, the computer freezes tightly.
I insert the USB flash drive into the PC, it detects it, it appears in the explorer, and in Windows (bottom right) there is a corresponding notification and an icon stating that the device is connected, I can’t press RMB on the icon on the control panel, I can’t press RMB in Explorer I can do the same - when pressed, the PC starts to freeze and nothing at all stops working. When I inserted the flash drive and it was displayed, I can recognize the PC until I run any software that can affect the flash drive, for example, I run Rufus - the PC freezes.
The PC is running Windows 10 pro.
Inserted into ports 2.0 and 3.0 - the result is the same.
I inserted it into a laptop and into a PC - the result is the same, the operating system is the same there and there.
The flash drive flew into this state a long time ago, about 5-6 years ago. Now I took it off the shelf, I decided to try to look for a solution to an old problem.

Obviously the problem is in the equipment, namely in the flash drive.
The most reasonable option is to throw out the flash drive.
Otherwise - fix the circuit, due to which the driver does not receive a response.
XP was still relevant 5-6 years ago.
Find a computer/laptop with XP and try to stick this flash drive into it.
If it does not freeze, you can think about recovery software.
If it hangs there too - only in the trash or back on the shelf, as recommended by @HemulGM
PS Infa on it, as I understand it, has no value? Otherwise, specialists can unsolder the chip itself and read information from it. For money, of course.
