The optimal number of words (characters) in the title?

I do automatic title generation for automatic pages (those that are generated by the product filter in the online store). So - if you select a lot of filter values, a fairly long title is generated,
for example title of 100 words and 700 characters.
Example:

"Buy a women's or men's or children's white or green or red or blue t-shirt in size XL or M.... (and 100 more words"

The question is what to do from the point of view of seo:
1. Set limits on the number of selected filters
2. Replace long titles with something shorter, but on what basis?
Please advise.

Remove parameters from the title, otherwise it will be perceived as spam. You can leave the most frequency parameters. For example, T-shirts by gender (female or male) are requested much more often than by color or size. Try to keep within 8 words.
