The operating system freezes and does not respond?
Hello,
I have the following system: Asus HK110m-k, Intel i-3 3.7GHz, 8Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 750-ti.
There are two disks. One SSD on it is a Windows 7x64 system, the second is a regular 500Gb HDD, I usually install all programs, temporary files, and so on on it.
Recently, the computer began to freeze when copying to it or when unpacking large archives. Does not respond to any pressing, only reboot helps. Checked hard drives and OP for errors, but found nothing. There are no errors in the events either. In this case, after freezing, the motherboard emits one short beep.
What could be the problem?

Thanks everyone for the advice. In general, the removal of the latest Windows 7 updates helped.
This option did not suit me, so I set it to 10. So far everything is working fine and even seems to be faster than on 7-ke.
