The motherboard does not support AHCI, how to install an SSD?

1. The nVidia nForce 630a chipset supports ACHI mode.
2. Update the BIOS to the latest.
3. Go to BIOS and find "nVidia RAID Function" and select Enable . This is SATA AHCI Mode.
4. If Windows is already installed and you switched to SATA AHCI Mode, you will get a "blue window" the next time you boot Windows. How to update drivers for ACHI mode is a different story.
The chipset, apparently, can still do AHCI. But ASUS does not provide such a setting for this board in the BIOS, and the controller remains in IDE emulation mode. What to do: suffer.

Then, I have rather big doubts that the board and your processor can handle 8GB of memory. Perhaps only 4GB sticks can do the maximum.
