The motherboard burned out because of the provider?

At home, some welding work was going on on the roof, and as it turned out, the provider connected his switch with zero to lightning protection a plus to plus (or whatever, I don’t know), and the welders grounded their device to lightning protection and the switch naturally burned out along with 3 computers and 8 client routers. The provider said that he owes nothing to anyone and sent everyone nah .. But I have a very expensive maternik (Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha), which completely burned out. As they said in the repair: the bridge came out, with a network card and other SMD components with tracks. Repair is not possible. What is the best thing to do in this case? There is nothing in the provider's contract about such cases, and accordingly he owes me 20k rubles? I'm interested to hear the answer of some providers themselves.

Take a paper with an examination in the service where the reason for the failure of the motherboard will be indicated and go to the provider first to negotiate a good deal, if it doesn’t help, then through the court

To a lawyer
When you understand how much the court will cost you, try to negotiate with the provider for compensation

We need an office that understands the electrician, which can conduct a forensic examination. Look for one in the city, but it’s better to cooperate with your neighbors, as pleasure can be expensive. Further, if the conclusion says that the provider is to blame - to the court. If the provider, for its part, does not involve another expert who says that the provider is not to blame, then most likely you will win (well, the provider will also be responsible for compensating all the costs of the court). But you may be waiting for a bummer already at the examination stage (or maybe not). Also, the provider can throw arrows at the welders and you will sue them for the second time. But until the results of the examination are received, this is all guesswork.

Glushnyak.
Who did the work on the roof, which welders? Where are they from? UK sent? So contact the Criminal Code - this is an exemplary response from the provider. There are at least four parties here - you (and there will be interested neighbors), the provider, the management company and the welders. It will be quite fun if it turns out that the Criminal Code hired a company that hired welders on the side :) I advise you to cooperate with your neighbors - because litigation is not cheap, and you still have to do an examination.
You need to start with an examination - that the mother burned down because of this and that. If the examination recognizes that it was the work of the welders that led to its failure, then go with this conclusion to the provider. He naturally sends you through the forest (see above). Then tell him that we will meet in court and go to the Criminal Code. There, too, send (or maybe not send) - go to court. In the court of the Criminal Code, of course, everything will be blamed on the welders, and if they suddenly make a decision in your favor, it may suddenly turn out that the office that sent the welders is no longer there: D

For good, the provider or whoever he is there doesn’t owe you a nifiga. You should have grounded your computer.

Take a hacksaw and steal the switch as compensation.

If you carefully read the contract, we will see that the provider does not bear any responsibility even for the fulfillment of its direct obligations under the contract, and even an attempt to impose very indirect damage on it is pure utopia.

Those to whom he owes - he forgives.
